Jenny Hogg | Business Manager

I previously worked as a Social Worker within the adult social care sector, a role that was both busy and challenging. When my husband transitioned from the public sector to work as a Will Writer with The Will Guys, I began to support him with administrative tasks. As my knowledge and experience grew, I also started assisting the director with similar responsibilities.

As the business expanded, so did the need for a larger infrastructure. Recognising this need, I began providing financial administration to all advisers within the company, whilst simultaneously building and managing a strong team of paraplanners to work alongside me.

When the opportunity arose to broaden my horizons and take on the role of Business Manager at the Will Guys too, I jumped at the chance.

My current role allows me to utilise my strengths fully. The management aspect enables me to nurture and develop my team members to their full potential. My warmth and caring nature have helped me build a strong and happy team, and it gives me enormous job satisfaction to watch my team grow in confidence.

I also enjoy working closely with advisers, supporting them with complex case queries and compliance issues. My attention to detail ensures that quality case files are produced consistently.

I love the variety my job offers, from dealing with clients and advisers to interacting with my own team. No two days are the same, which keeps my work dynamic and engaging.

When I’m not working, I enjoy travelling and exploring various countries and cities, immersing myself in their sights, cultures, and cuisines. I also love spending quality time with my family.
